We do not take measurements through the website. We believe in providing only the very best service which is why we offer a face to face consultation for all our clients. All of the suits we make are tailor- made and personalized to you, that's what makes an Alexandra Corbin Suit special.
If you would like to visit the studio in person, we would be happy to arrange a face to face consultation. Alternatively, we can take measurements remotely via a video consultation. In order to ensure your suit fits perfectly, measurements need to be exact but don't worry, we will walk you through the process every step of the way.
Please fill out the below form to set up your consultation or email [email protected]. If you cannot attend a consultation in person, we will set up a video consultation. We regularly work with ladies and gentlemen all over the world remotely taking measurements, choosing connectors, crystals, fabric and designs.
Below is an idea of how the process will go:
Initial query is made via the website contact form, or by emailing - [email protected]
A price is given based on the choices that are selected. The more crystals used, and the more intricate the design, the higher the cost of your suit.
Design is discussed and agreed. This can be done over messages, video call or a combination of both.
Video consultation to walk you through your measurements, or we personally take your measurements if you can make an in person consultation.
Bikini goes into production.
If you have any questions you can message or call us at any time. We will always keep you in the loop on the production of your suit.
Suit is picked up from the studio or posted out to you.
This is the "general" way orders happen. Each client has different questions, and we have as much contact as needed to ensure your suit is right for you.
When should I order my suit?
If you are unsure about when to order your suit, please remember that it is never too early, production slots fill up fast so the earlier the better. To secure your production slot in advance, all we ask for is a $250 non-refundable security deposit that will go towards the cost of your suit.
As a minimum, standard competition suits should be ordered at least 12 weeks before your show date.
If you are looking for a couture suit or a theme wear suit alone without accessories, you can order 4 months before your show date.
For theme wear pieces including wings and headpieces, we need 6 months notice.
What will payment look like for my suit? After your deposit is placed, we take 50% of the remaining balance once the fabric and design is agreed upon. The other 50% of the balance is taken before the suit is shipped to you or picked up from our studio. After your deposit is placed, payment plans are available in some circumstances, but all suits must be paid for in full before shipping or pick up. Please discuss this with your designer.
