FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When should I order my suit?
If you are unsure about when to order your suit, please remember that it is never too early. The earlier the better as you will then secure a spot in the production line. All you have to do is put down a $100 security deposit that will also go towards the cost of your suit. ALL SUITS SHOULD BE ORDEReD 10+ WEEKS OUT FROM YOUR SHOW DATE. Theme wear pieces should be ordered 6 months out from your show date If you are thinking about a more intricate piece such as wings or a headpiece. If you are looking for a couture suit/ theme wear suit alone, that does not include accessories you can order 4 months out from your show date.
What will payment look like for my suit?
A 50% non refundable deposit is taken when you order your suit and the other 50% is taken before the suit is shipped to you or picked up from our studio. Theme wear can be payed for with a payment plan, but must be paid for in full before shipping or pick up. Shipping is free with orders over $300 however theme wear is exempt when you purchase wings or larger pieces.
When is too late to order my suit/ rush orders?
Any suit ordered at 6 weeks out or under is considered a rush order. A rush charge of $150 will apply to your suit cost. Please ask if Alexandra Corbin can fit you in, as I always try to accommodate everyone's wishes and I will do my best to help you. Our fastest turn around so far has been 1 week. Please allow for shipping time or ask for overnight shipping costs.
I live outside of Canada, can I purchase a suit?
Absolutely. I ship suits worldwide. My main market places are Canada, the USA, United Kingdom, Australia and Brazil. If you are worried about fit, please see my history and the process of ordering your suit below.
How does the process of ordering my suit work?
It doesn't matter where you are situated, your suit will fit.
-Initial query is made via email - [email protected]
-Price list is sent back VIA email.
-Budget is chosen, which is set on the level of crystals on a suit and time put into the product.
-Design is chosen. This can happen over messages or video call.
-Videocall is used to walk you through your measurements, or I personally take your measurements if you can make an in person consultation.
-Bikini goes into production.
-If you have any questions you can message or call me at any time. I will always keep you in the loop on the production of your suit.
-Suit is picked up from the studio or posted out to you.
This is the "general" way orders happen. Each client has different questions, and we go back and forth as much as needed over text message. I have worked with people that I have not been able to meet in person and their suits fit like a glove.

Once you have ordered your suit you can cancel your order yes. However at the time of ordering a 50% non refundable deposit is taken. If you want to cancel your order, you will not receive your deposit back. This is due to the nature of suits being 100% custom made to your measurements.

How do I order and pay for a pre made suit?
Pre made suits ARE shown on my Instagram page, located in the highlights tab. Pre made suits must be paid for in full and no payment plan options are given. Once you decide on a suit we will arrange a video call to ensure the suits fits you. If the suit will not fit you like a glove, I will not allow the suit to go to you.
Can I cancel my pre made suit?
Unfortunaly no. These suits are paid for 100% upfront and will not be refunded.
What is your return policy?
All suits are custom made to your measurements. once payment is made, all sales are final. Alexandra Corbin guarantees every suit up to 24 hours after delivery. If there are any concerns with your suit, please contact me, however no competition suit should be worn to practice in multiple times. These suits are not practice suits and should not be treated like such. If you need a practice suit, please contact me to order one.
I want to order early but my body will change?
I am aware that your body will change. This is why regular video call updates are scheduled to go through the measurements I need to make your suit fit like a glove. Just like you want your suit to fit perfectly, I need your suit to fit perfectly as well.
Where is Alexandra Corbin located?
Alexandra Corbin is based in Oakville, ON, just North of the QEW off Third line.
Why do I need a posing suit?
Posing suits are vital to the lifeline of your chosen competition suit. Competition suits are not made to be worn over and over again. The crystals and connectors are fragile. Although I do choose the most reputable products to work with, the nature of these products are fragile. A posing suit will fit you in exactly the same way your competition suit will, SO YOU WILL GET USED TO YOUR BIKINIS FIT AND FEEL AT HOME AND FEEL COMFORTABLE WHEN THE TIME COMES TO STEP ON STAGE. A posing suit is made to be worn over and over again, the connectors used are much less fragile and perfectly fine to subject to wear and tear.
